Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has released advertisement for recruitment of lecturers (General & Women Branch) on direct recruitment basis. UKPSC recently announced the applications for 917 posts of lecturer which will be applied through online mode only before 10 October 2018.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have the following qualifications for direct recruitment for the post of Lecturer in UKPSC:

(ii) LT Diploma from a recognized State/ Government recognized institute/ college or Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) From a University or a University established by law in India,
| In the case of similar education qualifications, the preference will be given to the candidate who
(i) Have served at least 2 years in the Territorial Army, OR
(ii) Obtained the NCC-‘B’ certificate. OR
(iii) Obtained the N.S.S ‘C’ Certificate.

Note: Candidate will be eligible, whose name will be registered in the Employment Office in Uttarakhand state till the last date of application.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800, Grade Pay-Rs.4800 (Level-8)
Age Limit: Between 21-42 Years.
How to Apply
Interested and Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website www.ukpsc.gov.in from 04 September to 25 September 2018. New users have to register themselves through OTR (one time registration) in the UKPSC official website and then apply for the post. Candidates who have already registered should login with their user id and password and apply for the relevant post.

Selection Procedure
Candidate will be selected on the basis of their performance in Interview. In the case of obtaining a higher number of applications from the relative standard of vacancies, screening examination (Objective type) can be organized before interviewing for the exemption of candidates.
Self-attested copies of certificates in support of educational qualifications, experience etc. must also be brought along with the original Documents at the time of interview.
Screening Exam Centre
If the number of applicants relative to the posts available for selection is higher than the standard, the Commission can conduct screening exams. When applying online, please mention the due city for screening examination. SCREENING exam can be conducted in the following cities:
